Meet these happy and friendly guys!

Harley, the gray on the left, was one of our first boarders at Solstice Farms Dressage Stables in 1988. Aged two at that time, Harley was still growing and had much to learn. We didn't quite realize it then, but he would grow to almost 18 hands high. Nicknamed "Big H", he was trained by Marie Morgan, trainer/instructor and owner of Solstice Farms. Over time he became a wonderful and gentle dressage teacher to many riders at the barn. He left us in June 2011 at the age of 25. Harley's younger "brother" and friend, Solstice Farms Loverboy, is the other horse in the picture. Loverboy joined us in 2008 when he was seven. He really does justice to his name, is very friendly and always interested to see what is going on in the barn (and if a treat is possibly coming his way.) "LB" carries on the tradition. He trains with Marie, who also competes him, and is currently qualified to participate in the GAIG and SWDC Championships at second level.
